SurrealChat IRC Java Chat Client

Java Chat is a graphical chat program embedded in a standard web page. It is very simple to use and requires no set up or configuration. It is as simple as click and chat. To enter our Java chat server, simply click on the 'Java' button below. Then on the page shown type in your desired username. Do not type in a password if it is your fist visit to SurrealChat, as you will have the opportunity to register and set a password once on the server. Existing users already in possession of a password can of course type in their password. Once you have done this, wait for the chat screen to appear and the applet to load. This may look like a large orange or white logo with a 'coffee cup' whilst loading. You may see a box asking you if you want to run this software - click yes. It is perfectly safe and is supplied by Sun Microsystems. Once the software has downloaded, your chat client will open and automatically connect you to our server and place you in our main reception room where, if you are a new user, someone will be on hand to help you. Once settled, we will explain to you the tools available on your chat client. Our Java client has been tested with Internet Explorer 6 & 7 and is best viewed at 1024x768 pixels resolution.
